Altiplan has won an exciting school project in Fredrikstad, consisting of a primary school and activity hall.

Fredrikstad municipality has invited to a mini-competition among three framework agreement suppliers for remodeling and new construction at Lunde school with gymnasium/activity hall. The project, to which Altiplan has had the honor of contributing, is about transforming the area into a sustainable district with a focus on an inclusive and inspiring school environment. Altiplan is concerned with developing a school that provides a safe environment and encourages curiosity and creativity, with the aim of creating a place where both students and staff feel a sense of belonging. Sustainability is a core value in the project, where the reuse of existing buildings and the use of solid wood in the new buildings are central. Altiplan will also focus on compressing the building stock to reduce energy use and footprint.
