On the stretch along the E39 Svegatjørn-Rådal between Os and Bergen, a control station for the Norwegian Road Administration is to be established to improve the efficiency of truck controls.
The facility contains areas dedicated to administration, staff, customer inquiries, a weighing platform, as well as a hall for thorough inspection of trucks.
The plot is located in a well-established industrial area, and the development of the project was done in close collaboration with the Norwegian Road Administration and technical advisers from HRP AS. The style is based on the existing buildings in the area and thorough investigations were carried out to optimize the utilization of the site, with particular emphasis on the lorries' turning radius.
